Day 1:  Beach Clean Up 
9 Divide students into teams of 2-3 
9 Give one “recorder” in each group, an ICC card to  
record the garbage picked up by his/her team 
9 Collect and dispose of trash 
 
Materials:  aluminum can, tin can, piece of wood, piece of cloth, piece 
of paper, glass bottle, 6-pack ring, rubber bands 
Materials:    gloves, trash bags, tools, ICC cards or copies, pencils
