Head Start students will return to classrooms for School Year 2022-2023 on Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at all Head Start sites territorially. VIDHS Commissioner Kimberley Causey-Gomez stated, “The Head Start Program is a beacon in the world of early childhood education. Many of today’s leaders locally and globally were Head Start students. The VIDHS Head Start Program wishes our staff, students and Head Start families a successful and positively transformative school year.” The community is reminded that Head Start recruitment continues.
