Premiers

a decision about

indemnity
has

indefinitely
postponed.
The

was
taken
at
the
request
of France
who insisted
that
each
time
a
conference
has
been
held
the
Germans
have
been
permitted
to
unlcad
some
of the
obligations
imposed
on them by the treaty of Versaiiles.

Badford,
Trenton,
and

York
were
among
cities

reporced
anonymous
messages
of
dire
misfortune.
Although
the
authorities
profess
to
regard
these
messages
as
the
work
of
some
practical
joker
or
crank
nevertheless
in
every
iustance
extra pr2cautions
were taken.
The fact
that the Ngw
York
customs
house
still
stands
unshakeh
after the take-warning
of the explosion to have occurred
yesier-
day did not cause
either Federal
or local
authorities
toyeiax their vigiiance.

ture by the forees
of General Wrangel
of
the
towns
of Aled
and
Rovsk
on
the
Dnieper river and about
10,000 prisoners
was
reported
to the United
States
De-
partment
today
in advices from Constan-
tinople.
Wrangel’s forces
took 24
guns,
several
hundred
machine
guns,
five
ar-
moured
cars and
a
large amount
of
sup-
plies, the despatch
added.
