enormous
crops
when
the
weather
is favourabie.
Itis planted
like

from
piezes.
The
rows
should be
mace
33 li. or 4 fi. apart
and
the plants
spaced
2 or 24 it. apart
in the rows.
As the grass
grows
toa
height of
10
or
12 ft. it should
be
used
to cut for
the
stock,
and I suggest
that
a picce of
land
in the neighbourhood
of
each
pen
on
an
Est:te
would
provide
abundant
fodder
which cou.d
be
cut and carted
at very lit-
tle expense.
