(809) 793-6555 *64757* 64757 MONTHLY PROGRESS REPORT NO. 21 November 9, 1993 RE: Administrative Order on Consent Index No. II - RCRA - Proceeding 7003 & 9003-92-0401 This status report includes the work performed during the period from October 1 through October 29, 1993. WORK COMPLETED DURING PREVIOUS MONTH Continued data analysis and preparation of the portions of the remedial investigation (RI) Report. Conducted an inventory and prepared an index of electronic data (i.e., text and tables) associated with the RI. Conducted an inventory and compiled existing documents in preparation for receipt of additional data from potentially responsible parties (PRPs). Received verbal authorization from the PRP committee to commence die expanded scope of work on October 12, 1993. Transmitted letter of confirmation to committee. Participated in two telephone conferences on October 14, 1993; one with PRP committee, and one with the PRP committee members and U. S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA). Commenced preparation of comprehensive bibliography and well inventory tasks. Participated in meeting with the USEPA on October 21, 1993 to discuss schedule for expanded RI. Prepared and revised proposed schedule for comprehensive and internal Rl/feasibility study (FS) implementation as a result of October 21, 1993 meeting with USEPA. Prepared draft letter and schedules dated October 22, 1993. Reviewed and compiled additional data received from H + GCL for Four Winds Plaza. Coordinated with surveyor to update existing basemap. WORK TO BE COMPLETED DURING NEXT MONTH As discussed in the meeting on October 21, 1993 with USEPA, the scope of the RI has been expanded to include a larger area/extent, and to incorporate the data regarding other sites and potential sources of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and other constituents that may have been generated, and will be generated by the PRPs.
