most impacted by elevated levels of copper and lead in the potable water system and to include 
omitted appropriations and to make corrections to the budget items for the fiscal year ending

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands:

SECTION 1.  There is appropriated the sum of $350,000, in the fiscal year ending 
2 
September 30, 2024, from the General Fund, 33 V.I.C. § 3087, as a grant to the Virgin Islands 
3 
Territorial Emergency Management Agency to provide bottled drinking water to persons 
4 
residing in the areas identified by the Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority as most 
5 
impacted by elevated levels of copper and lead in the potable water system.  The Virgin Islands 
6 
Territorial Emergency Management Agency shall coordinate the water distribution with the 
7 
Virgin Islands Water and Power Authority.

SECTION 2.  Act No. 8750 is amended by inserting “Fund” after “Services” wherever

it appears.
