AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES



THIS AMENDMENT is made this us day of Merely , 2019, in the

Territory of the Virgin Islands, by and between the GOVERNMENT OF THE VIRGIN

ISLANDS, DEPARTMENT OF PROPERTY AND PROCUREMENT on behalf of

the DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION (hereinafter referred to as "Government"), of

1834 Kongens Gade, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands 008020 and ENVIRONMENTAL

CONCEPTS, INC. (hereinafter referred to as "Contractor") of 1047 King Street,

Christiansted, U.S. Virgin Islands 00820. The Government and Contractor, collectively

referred to as “Parties”.



WITNESSETH:



WHEREAS, on August 9, 2018 the Parties entered into Professional Service

Contract No. P034DOETIS (hereinafter referred to as “Contract”) as subsequently

renewed by P017DOET19 to test, remove, and dispose of hazardous asbestos containing

building material from identified classrooms at the Charlotte Amalie High School

(CAHS) located in the St. Thomas/ St. John School District; and



WHEREAS, the Contract expires pursuant to its terms on February 5, 2019; and



WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend Addendum I (Scope of Work) to test, to

remove, and to dispose of an additional 2,803 sq. ft. of hazardous asbestos for a total of

6,263 sq. ft. of hazardous asbestos identified containing flooring material at the Charlotte

Amalie High School; and



WHEREAS, the additional services shall require an extension of the Contract

term for an additional sixty (60) days from February 5, 2019 to end on April 6, 2019; and



WHEREAS, the additional services shall require an increase compensation of

Sixty-Nine Thousand, Fifty Seven Dollars and Zero Cents ($69,057.00), thus increasing

the total Contract cost to an amount not to exceed One Hundred Fifty Four Thousand,

Three Hundred Fifty-Seven Dollars and Zero Cents ($154,357.00); and



NOW THEREFORE, for mutual and valuable consideration, the receipt and

sufficiency of which is hereby acknowledged, the parties hereto agree as follows;



TERMS AND CONDITIONS



1. The Contract, is hereby amended and its term extended by sixty (60) days, deleting all

existing language contained in Paragraph 2: (Term) and replacing it with language as



follows:
