Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands:

SECTION 1.  The following sums, or so much thereof as may be necessary, are

appropriated from the Anti-Litter and Beautification Fund in the Treasury of the Government of 
3 
the Virgin Islands, created by Act No. 7536, to the following departments for operating expenses 
4 
for the fiscal year October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024.

BILL SUMMARY

This bill provides for an $6,300,000 appropriation from the Anti-Litter and Beautification

Fund, of which $1,225,000 is appropriated to the Virgin Islands Department of Public Works and

$5,000,000 is appropriated to the Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority for the fiscal year 
7 
ending September 30, 2024.
