Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands:

SECTION 1.  Title 5 Virgin Islands Code, Part I, chapter 302, subchapters I and II,

sections 3520 - 3523, 3524a, 3525, and 3527are amended by inserting “Territorial” before 
3 
“Public Defender” wherever it appears.

Section 1 of this bill amends title 5 Virgin Islands Code, Part I, chapter 302, subchapters

I and II, sections 3520 - 3523, 3524a, 3525, and 3527 to rename the Public Defender

Administration Board , the Office of the Public Defender, and the Chief Public Defender with

their legal documents and website where they are known as the “Territorial Public Defender 
9 
Administration Board”, the “Office of the Territorial Public Defender” and the “Chief 
10 
Territorial Public Defender” respectively.
