An Act providing an appropriation from the Tourism Advertising Revolving Fund to the Virgin

Islands Waste Management Authority, Office of the Governor, the Virgin Islands Department

of Education, the Virgin Islands Police Department, the Virgin Islands Department of Public

Works, the Virgin Islands Department of Agriculture, the Virgin Islands Department of Sports,

Parks and Recreation, and the Virgin Islands Department of Tourism during the fiscal year

October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024

Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands:



SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other law, the following sums, or so much thereof as

may be necessary, are appropriated in the fiscal year October 1, 2023, through September 30,

2024, from any funds available in the Tourism Advertising Revolving Fund to: the Virgin

Islands Waste Management Authority, the Office of the Governor to fund programs, the Virgin

Islands Department of Education for Interscholastic Competition, the Virgin Islands Police

Department for police operations on St. Thomas/St. John and St. Croix, the Virgin Islands

Department of Public Works, the Virgin Islands Department of Agriculture and the Virgin

Islands Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation for promotion of sports tourism, sports

programs and other related purposes; and for the Department’s personnel, fringe, maintenance,

supplies, utilities, equipment and other related purposes.
