At same of these gaging stasions practien! ly continuous records have been kept for many vears; this is especially true of the gages at Christiansied, King Hiil, and Frederik-ted, where the records cover a period of 72 years (1832 to 1923). Thae average of these three stations has been tabulated by months for this period (see Table 1) and is accepted as the average for the Island. The Unit of Measure of raintall used in this report is the “‘Line’’ (¢equal to 1-8 inch), which is the unit in comnmen use on the Island. 36.
