Be it enacted by the legislature of the Virgin Islands:

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding 33 Virgin Islands Code, section 3003a(e), the following

sum, or so much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Transportation Trust 
3 
Fund to the Virgin Islands Bureau of Motor Vehicles for operating expenses, including wages 
4 
of salaried employees of the Virgin Islands Bureau of Motor Vehicles for the fiscal year 
5 
October 1, 2023, through September 30, 2024.

This bill provides for a $6,000,00 appropriation from the Transportation Trust Fund for

the fiscal year ending September 30, 2024, of which $1,000,000 is allocated to the Virgin

Islands Bureau of Motor Vehicles and $5,000,000 is allocated as a contribution to the General 
1 
Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin Islands.
