known
here
but
as
honey
of squill
or
other
medical
compositions
and
no
body
put
any
great
confidence
in I's medical
pow-
ers,
as
+it had
lever
been
tried
but
in
cases
of ordinary colds
&ec.
It was
very
dear
and
not
very
gool
Now
it
is
guite
common
and the
price
is
a
mere
trifle, consequently
a remedy
everybody
can
use.
I, the undersigned.
have known
it and
vsed i*
much
in Europe
and had
the greatest
wish
to introduce
bees
here,
as imported
Honey
never
has
the
same
¢
medical
qualities,
as
fresh;
and
the price
too i igh
to continue
the
use
of
it
long
andin large quantities.
But it was not an
easy
task
to
make
bees
natives
here,
this, combired
with
the
large outlay
to
introduce
Bees,
hitherto
prevented
me.
Lieutenant
Thorsen,
who
has
studied
this mati>r and
understands
1t thorough-
- ly, deserves
the
highest
praise
for hav-
ing brought
bees
to .this country,
where
they
thrive
so
well
and
give
a
large
and
most
beautiful
produce.
I have
a
great
experience
in
the
use
of
honey
in ceveral
cases
of
sickness,
and
have
succeeded
in curing
many
most
desper-
ate
eases
of consumption
almost
by
s
remedy
alone,

have
theretore
a
full
right to recommend
it
to
my
colleagues,
the
doctors,
and
the
public
at
large
and
need
only
to

the

discussion

the

some

kingfisher
