bought

the
United
States,

will te flown to that country by

crew,
took
the
air
for
the

last
night,
making
an
entirely
satisfactory flicht.
It
left the Cardigan
Station
at

and
landed
six
and
one half hours
later.
She
carried
48
persons
all
told.
Among
the
officers
were
U.S.
Commander
Maxfield,
who

ship
on her
transatlan-
tic flight,
Lieut
Commander
Bieg, and
a
number
of distinguished
British officers
were aboard.
After further trials to test
the
thorough
reliabilicy and general
air-
worthiness
of
the
airship,
she
will be
handed
over
to
the
United States
crew,
who
will carry
our a flignt necessary
to
tamiliarize themselves
with the handling
of the airsh'p,
before her departure.
