Remembers journalist as ‘epitome of Virgin Islands Ambassador’

US VIRGIN ISLANDS – Governor Albert Bryan Jr. Issued the following statement on the passing of Netfa “Tafa” Romain:

“It is with great sadness that Yolanda and I share our condolences with the family, friends, and all in the Virgin Islands community who mourn the loss of Netfa. I knew “Tafa” from his days with TV2 and always thought he represented the epitome of a Virgin Islands Ambassador. He was proud of his home and his people and dedicated his talents to showcasing the talents and the achievements of other Virgin Islanders. He was kind, smart, and professional with his craft. I was sad when he moved to the mainland, and now on his passing.

“Yolanda and I extend our deepest condolences to his family and friends, especially to his wife, Natasha, and his children.”
