Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands:

SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding the use restrictions in 33 V.I.C. §3100, there is

appropriated in the fiscal year ending September 30, 2023, the sum of $331,334 from the Youth 
3 
Education and Training Endowment Fund and the sum of $138,666 from the General Fund of 
4 
the Government of the Virgin Islands to the Department of Education for the completion of the 
5 
Virgin Islands-centric Civics and the Virgin Islands History Textbooks for the 3rd through 8th 
6 
grades.
