 Frederiksted Man Arrested for Domestic Violence Assault 
Frederiksted, St. Croix– On Wednesday August 17, 2022, members of the Criminal Investigation 
Bureau/ Domestic Violence Unit arrested 26-year-old Eliezer Martinez at 11:55a.m., in the Sion 
Farm area.  
Mr. Martinez was arrested for strangling and causing visible injuries to an adult female on August 
3, 2022. Mr. Martinez was charged for Assault 2nd. No bail was set as per the DV Statue. Mr. 
Martinez was remanded to the John Bell Correctional Facility, pending his Advice of Rights 
hearing on Friday, August 19, 2022, at the Superior Court of the Virgin Islands.
