Ms. Prentice received a bachelors degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in 
Management, from the University of the Virgin Islands in 2000.  She began her career at the 
Virgin Islands Department of Agriculture.  Her position as a marketing technician promoted 
marketing initiatives that established strong vendor relationships between local farmers and 
businesses.  In 2004, Ms. Prentice saw the opportunity for her to use her varied skills as VI-
EPSCoR’s program specialist and was excited to be able to return to the academic setting at the 
University of the Virgin Islands and support the economic development of the United States Virgin 
Islands.
