in the
balance
throughout
the
trying
days
of
the long
period and he won against
a great

ity ; had it not been for that success
there
would have
been
no
Constitution
of
the
United States.

not
speak
of
his
services further, I speak
that you
might
know the
superior feeling and
admira-
tion which
we feel for Alexander
Hamil-
ton in the
United
States.
He
arranged
the flscal and finance
system
of the Unit-
ed States
and it rose
to its feet,
he struck
the rock of finance and it flowed
a golden
stream.
You should grow in
admiration
of
the
American
Flag,
of
Alexander
Hamilton’s service
to the
United
States
and
to the world.
