exact copy of a Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the

University of the Virgin Islands ("University") duly adopted at

its meeting on June 21, 1987, as recorded in the Minutes of said



meeting.



‘ RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

OF THE UNIVERSITY OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS

WHEREAS, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the

University of the Virgin Islands (hereinafter "University") and

the President and Executive Vice President of the University

have caused to be formed a non-profit corporation known as the

Foundation for the College of the Virgin Islands, Inc.

("Foundation") for the benefit of the University; and

WHEREAS , the University and the Foundation also desire the

Foundation to be re-named THE FOUNDATION FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF

THE VIRGIN ISLANDS, INC.;

NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved that in consideration of the

benefit to the University, expected to result from the

Foundation, the UNIVERSITY OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS hereby consents



to the use of the name THE FOUNDATION FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF THE

VIRGIN ISLANDS, INC. by the Foundation.
