ERRATA ORDER 
THIS MATTER is before the Court sua sponte to correct an error in an Opinion 
issued on August 29, 2008 in the instant case.  It is hereby 
ORDERED that the August 29, 2008 Opinion is hereby AMENDED as follows: 
on page 15 at note 16, the Opinion stated: “Although the Territorial Court was not 
created until 1991, local courts have existed in the Virgin Islands for many years prior to 
that date.”  This sentence shall now read: “Although the Territorial Court was not created 
until 1977, local courts have existed in the Virgin Islands for many years prior to that 
date.  See 1976 V.I. Sess. Laws 192 (Act. No. 3876).”  It is further 
ORDERED that copies of this order be directed to the parties’ counsel.
