John H. Woodson Students Injured from Shots  
Discharged from a BB Gun 
 
St. Croix, USVI - On Thursday, February 16, 2023, 911 received a call at 12:23p.m. from 
John H. Woodson Junior High School Principal Henry Mark, reporting a vehicle drove by the 
school and discharged pellet shots from a BB gun striking some students. There were injuries 
reported, however, non-life-threatening; the students were treated by the school nurse. 
 
This is currently an active case and VIPD is investigating this incident. Detectives are asking
