APPLICATION for ALL PARTICIPANTS - GENERAL RULES AGREEMENT 1. An application fee is required of every applicant according to the requested size of sales space. Please return fee and this completed form to the Department of Agriculture at Estate Dorothea or the Cooperative Extension Service, New House Building at UVI. **ONLY MONEY ORDERS OR CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED** APPLICATIONS RECEIVED AFTER: FRIDAY, October 26th, 2018 will be subject to $15 late fee if space is available. 2. Tents may be erected after 2 p.m. on the Thursday before the fair. All booth entries must be set up by 9:00 a.m. daily. 3. All decorations and exhibits must be in good taste and confined to the allotted spaces. All participants must provide their own canopy type tent, tables, chairs and tarpaulin tops. 4. ABSOLUTELY NO VEHICLES will be allowed in the display area during the fair. 5. Booth holders who arrive after 10:00 a.m. must hand-carry their goods to their booths. ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOLIC PRODUCTS WILL BE ALLOWED OR SOLD ON THE PREMISES. THE PROMOTION, SALE & DISTRIBUTION OF ILLEGAL DRUGS AND RELATED PARAPHERNALIA ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED. "In no event shall the organizing committee be liable or responsible for any failures or delays arising out of or caused by, directly or indirectly, forces beyond its control, including Acts of God.” 6. All items displayed or sold must be agriculturally related or reflect our traditional arts and crafts, including tee-shirts, jewelry, perfumes, balloons, toys, books, etc. Violators will be expelled immediately from the fair. 7. Applicants will meet with members of the fair organizing committee on Friday, November 2nd, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at the Bordeaux Farmers’ Market. THIS MEETING IS MANDATORY. 8. Each category must have a separate application and a different individual responsible for each space. The prices per booth are listed below. Health Cards may be obtained at the Roy Lester Schneider Regional Medical Center. Note that the Fair Committee will obtain the Health Permit on behalf of the Food vendors. For health and safety of consumers, keep food covered and at its proper serving temperature to avoid food contamination. Please bring adequate serving utensils; none will be provided. Make sure all foods sold are suitable and local. All drinks must be served in cups. At the end of each day, all garbage must be removed and placed in the containers provided for the fair.
