MAJOR CRIMES UNIT INVESTIGATING HOMICIDE ON KRONPRINDSENS GADE 
 
St. Thomas, USVI- On Thursday November 03, 2022, at approximately 848 p.m. a 
citizen called the 911 Emergency Call Center to report a black male lying on the 
ground in the area of lower Kronprindsens Gade, St. Thomas USVI.  The citizen 
also reported that the male appeared to have sustained at least one gunshot 
wound to the upper body, and the victim appeared to be slipping in and out of 
consciousness.  
Responding officers and Emergency Medical Technicians travelled to the area of 
Lower Kronprindsens Gade and made contact with the male victim. Emergency 
Medical Technicians began life saving efforts and transported the victim to the 
Schneider Regional Medical Center via ambulance. 
At 9:32 p.m. the victm succumbed to his injuries was pronounced deceased. 
The male was positively identified by next of kin as 35-year-old Jasim Denver 
Thompson.
