want to say good morning to the people of the Virgin Islands. Good morning, colleagues. Good morning to the testifiers.
Today, July 1st, we have before us the committee, the Department of Sports, Parks and Recreation, along with the
Olympic Committee, and later we'll have the National Guard Office of the Adjutant General. Before we begin the
proceedings this morning, I want to wish my wife a very happy anniversary. Today marks 32 years of being married to
my wonderful, loving wife.

I'm working on our anniversary, so it is what it is. But I also want to extend anniversary wishes to my colleague, Noble
Francis, who got married 28 years after I did, on the exact same day on July 1st. So happy anniversary to Senator Noble
Francis and his lovely wife, Avril. So I told Senator Noble Francis when he got married that I got married in 1989, July
1st, and September we had Hurricane Hugo, a Category 5 hurricane. And 28 years later, Senator Noble Francis got
married to Avril on July 1st, 2017. And in September, I wronged the same deed, we had two Category 5 hurricanes. So
I'm putting out a warning no more, July 1st, weddings. Okay, now that's be the last of celebrating this wonderful
anniversary date, because it somehow brings hurricane.
