PETITION FOR RATE INCREASE i ae ORDER WHEREAS, on February 1, 2012, pursuant to Title 30, Section 25 of the Virgin Islands Code, the Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (“PSC” or “Commission”) assessed Transportation Services of St. John, Inc. (hereinafter “Transportation Services”) $24,289.80 in Order No. 7/2012; and WHEREAS, on June 18, 2012, the Commission granted Transportation Services a ninety (90) day extension of time to submit its outstanding annual assessments for fiscal years: 2010, 2011 and 2012; and WHEREAS, on September 28, 2012, the Commission assessed Transportation Services $19,175.45 in Order No. 33/2012; and WHEREAS, on November 14, 2012, Transportation Services remitted partial payment to the PSC in the amount of $22,850.87 in accordance with Order 7/2012; and WHEREAS, the PSC’s records indicate that Transportation Services failed to pay the full amounts assessed in Order Numbers 7/2012 and 33/2012; and WHEREAS, on September 23, 2013, Transportation Services filed a petition with the Public Services Commission (hereinafter “PSC” or the “Commission”) requesting an extension of time for one hundred-twenty (120) days to pay assessments; and WHEREAS, on September 24, 2013, the Commission held a regular meeting in the its offices on both St. Thomas and St. Croix; and WHEREAS, upon review and deliberation the Commission voted to DENY Transportation Services’ request for an extension of time to pay assessments; and
