sanctioned
the Law concerning
acquirement
of
Danish
citizenship
in
consequence
of
the
incorporation
in
Denmark
of
the
South
Jutlandish
distriets.
Any person
born
in the South
Jutland-
ish
districts
and
possessed
of
German
citizenship,
shall acquire
Danish
ecitizen-
ship, if, within
June
the
15th
1922
he
makes
a declaration
of opiion,
provided
only that, if he
does
not even
then reside
here,
he shall in the ecourse
of
the
next
12 months
after having made
the
decla-
ration,
take up his residence
in Denmark.
As to opting persons
not residing in Ger-
many,
dispensation
with the requirement
of settlement
in Denmark
may, however,
be obtained
from the
Ministry of
Home
Affairs, unless
the
person
in
question
is
possessed
of citizenship
also in the
couan-
try, where
he is residing.
Any
person
who,
according
to
the
above,
wishes
to make
a
d-=claration
of
option,
will have to apply
personally
or
in writing to
the
Royal
Daaish
Consu-
late at St.
Thomas
before
Dacember
the
31st
1921,
where farther parcticulars
will
be
given.
