Temporary Closure: DHS Division of Family Assistance Holds Staff 
Training for Issuance and Quality Control Units in St. Croix District 
U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS - The Virgin Islands Department of Human Services (VIDHS), Division of 
Family Assistance, announces a temporary closure of the Issuance and Quality Control Units in the St. Croix 
District on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This closure is due to a scheduled staff 
training session. 
 
This temporary closure is essential to facilitate a focused training aimed at enhancing the skills and 
knowledge of our dedicated staff. The training will specifically address improvements in processes related to 
issuance and quality control, ensuring streamlined operations, and maintaining the highest standards of 
service delivery.
