Licensing and Consumer Affairs’ (DLCA) invitation to testify before the Committee on 
Government Operations, Veterans Affairs, and Consumer Protection on Monday, February 24, 
2025. 
 
Thank you for extending the invitation to testify before the 36th Legislature. Unfortunately, due 
to prior commitments, I will be unable to attend the hearing. However, Assistant Commissioner 
Horace Graham will represent the DLCA in my stead, accompanied by Deputy Commissioner 
Myrna George, General Counsel Geraldine Vaval, and Director of the Division of Consumer 
Affairs, Matthew Padgett. Each of these representatives is well-versed in the relevant matters and 
prepared to provide updates and engage in discussions as outlined in your invitation.
