PRESS RELEASE DATE: April 11, 2001 for immediate release “Chalkdust” Releases Book on Carnival Tradition The Virgin Islands Carnival Committee will host a book unveiling this evening featuring Dr. Hollis Liverpool, also known as the legendary calypsonian “Chalkdust,” at 6 p.m. at the Virgin Islands Cultural Heritage Institute on St. Thomas.
