invited
to
attend
a
meeting
of

Supreme
Cuncil
along
with the other paid
and
employed
Exec-
utive
officers
ot
the
linstitution,
which
invitation they declined,
thus
and
other-
wise treating
the
Council
with
supreme
contempt.

The
meeting
was
held
without
their presence
in
view of their retusal
to
aitend and
subsequently
the
24 members
of the Supreme
Council
preseat
at
that
meeting
of the
7th
sent
a
politely writ
ten
invitation
to
the
President
of
the
Labor
Unioi
asking
him
to
convene
a
meeting
on Friday
the
17th
inst.
for the
purpose

recognised

Union

the members
of the Institution.

tempted
to
set
at
naught

cision
(which
so far
had
been
dulwecar-
ried out) but they will
not
folerate

in
their
institution

contracts
and settled arrangements
simply bee
use
certain
individuals
in the
organization
want
to
take
advantage
of
the
faect
that
all such
arrangements
were
not committed
to
writing.

have succeeded
in keeping
it for
