HE following excerpt
from
paragraph
37,
Police
Regulations
for St.
Croix,
is hereby brought
to
public notice for
the infurmation of all concerned:
““The police are entitled
to take
up dogs
found
without a dog stamp,
and
if no
ope
redeems
them
within three
times
24 hours,
the Police
can
order
them
to
be
killed.
The
same
applies
to
doge
roa-aing about
the
streets
from
10.00
p.
m.
to 6.00
a. m.,
and also
to bitches
in rutting.time.’’
Beginning Monday,
November
7, 1921,
the
above regulation
in regards
to
dogs
will
be
rigidly
enforced
and
all
dogs
found
unlawfully
on the
streets
will be
taken
over by
the Police.
Dog
stamps
can
be procured
at
any
time from the Police Headquarters.
