GOVERNMENT OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES PUBLIC SERVICES COMMISSION IN RE ) Docket No. 600 ) Order No. 20/2012 THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE’S ) PETITION FOR FORFEITURE AND FINES _ ) FOR AQUATIC MANAGEMENT, LLC. ) ) ORDER WHEREAS, on March 28, 2012, the Virgin Islands Department of Justice submitted a Petition for Forfeiture and Fines for the exclusive franchise of Aquatic Management, LLC. d/b/a V.I. SeaTrans (hereinafter “V.I. SeaTrans”) to the Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (hereinafter, “PSC” or the “Commission”); and WHEREAS, on March 30, 2012, the Virgin Islands Public Services Commission met in Regular Session at the Port Authority Conference Room located at the Henry Rohlsen Airport on St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands; and WHEREAS, upon review and deliberation the Commission voted to establish a new docket to begin the hearing process for the Petition for Forfeiture and Fines submitted by the Department of Justice; and WHEREAS, the Commission also ordered that a hearing examiner be appointed at the next scheduled meeting to preside over the hearings in this matter; and NOW THEREFORE, it is hereby ORDERED, that the Commission establishes a docket to begin the hearing process for the Petition submitted by the Department of Justice for Fines and Forfeiture; and finally FINALLY, it is hereby ORDERED that a hearing examiner be appointed at the next scheduled PSC meeting to preside over the hearings in this matter.
