on ยป) DELETION OF IDEAS AND ISSUES AS A GENERAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENT (Board of Trustees Meeting, February 26, 1984) The president recommends the deletion of Ideas and Issues as a General Education Requirement. The College will continue to provide programs of the same nature for the enrichment of the students; however the great number of students, as compared to the enrollments of the late nineteen sixties, and the shortage of space make it impractical to withdraw graduation from those who are unable to satisfy the current requirement. The Board voted to delete Ideas and Issues as a General Education requirement.
