National Voter Registration Day will be a day when every qualified resident and Virgin Islander makes sure that his or her friends and family are all registered to vote. The Elections System of the Virgin Islands is committed to encouraging voter registration and increasing access to elections. The residents of the Territory support new and innovative methods of registration, as well as continuing efforts by our election officials to play an active role in registering qualified citizens. Voter registration is required in order to vote in the Virgin Islands, and the need for public education and information on voter registration is critical as Virgin Islanders prepare to take part in the November 2018 elections.
