a letter

only to show that this is not
a rew matter.
The bill was reintreduced
in
the
Council
on October
15, 1923, and
at that
time the
Government
Secrotary
said
that
as
the
Governor had already expressed
his views
as being
opposed
to the original bill, Gov-
ernment
had
no recourse
except
that
it
does
not see
its
way towards forwarding
the
present
draft.
The
bill
was,
aow-
ever,
sent
to a committee
on October
15,
the
com nittee
met
and
has
sent
in
its
report which has
been printed
and
circu-
lated.
It speaks
for itself.
