VIDHS Division of Family Assistance Announces Partial Day Closure for 
DFA Units on Friday, February 27, 2026 
U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS - The Virgin Islands Department of Human Services (VIDHS) Division of 
Family Assistance (DFA) announces a partial day closure of its Certification, Quality Control, 
and Front End Units in both the St. Thomas/St. John and St. Croix districts on Friday, 
February 27, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Operations will resume at 1:00 p.m. the same 
day. 
This temporary closure will allow staff to conduct essential administrative reviews and internal 
operational activities to ensure continued compliance and the efficient delivery of services to 
the community.  
Regular services will resume promptly at 1:00 p.m.
