The Board of Directors of the Virgin Islands Academic & Cultural Awards
Endowment (VIACAE) is accepting applications for its territorial
scholarship program for the 2026-2027 academic year.
 Virgin Islands residents pursuing graduate studies or cultural projects are
encouraged to apply.
THE VIRGIN ISLANDS ACADEMIC AND CULTURAL
AWARD ENDOWMENT (VIACAE) 
Proof of Virgin Islands residency for at least ten years, five (5) of which must
immediately precede the date of submission of application. 
Proof of acceptance and enrollment into an approved
program at an accredited graduate or professional school
Either must have made a significant contribution to the Virgin Islands through
government service or otherwise, or must require financial support and have
established financial need for such support in order to pursue professional,
graduate or other studies or research; or must engage in a cultural project(s)
which will substantially continue to benefit the people of the Virgin Islands
