Man Arrested for the Death of 68-year-old Man on Hospital Ground 
St. Thomas, USVI - On Friday, February 24, 2023, at approximately 1:47 p.m., a citizen 
contacted 911 and reported shots fired in the area of upper Hospital Ground and that a male 
was being transported to Schneider Regional Medical Center. 
A male victim was transported via private vehicle and had appeared to have suffered at least 
one gunshot wound to the upper body. Lifesaving efforts were performed at Schneider 
Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Room, however the male succumbed to his injury. 
Next of kin identified the male as 68-year-old, Keith A. Jennings. 
Shortly after the shots were reported, Richardson Dangleben Jr. contacted 911 and reported 
that he had shot Mr. Jennings. 
Mr. Dangleben Jr. was subsequently arrested and charged with the shooting death of Mr. 
Keith Jennings.
