PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT



I would like to humbly thank Governor Mapp, Lt. Governor Potter, the Legislature, and the

Property and Procurement staff for their commitment in allowing me to serve the people of the

territory.



Today reminds me of my very first day after Basic Training in the Army, 30 years ago. Like every

Virgin Islander living abroad, I had a choice about where I want to work. I returned home because

I believe the U.S. Virgin Islands are the very best place in the world to serve.



I have lived around the world and have empowered people to do incredible things with their

individual capabilities. I wanted to do the same in my home and make a difference for the

employees at DPP and _ our tterritory. This is what inspires me _ daily.
