To amend the Virgin Islands of the United States Centennial 
Commission Act to extend the expiration date of the 
Commission, and for other purposes. 
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. REVIVAL OF VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED 
3
STATES CENTENNIAL COMMISSION. 
4
(a) IN GENERAL.—The Virgin Islands of the United 
5
States Centennial Commission Act (Public Law 114–224) 
6
is amended— 
7
(1) in section 7(b)—

(A) in the matter preceding paragraph (1),

by striking ‘‘January 31, 2018’’ and inserting

‘‘January 31, 2020’’;

‘‘The Commission shall terminate 30 days after sub-

mitting the final report described under section 7(b).’’.

(b) EFFECTIVE DATE.—The amendment made by 
15
subsection (a) shall take effect on September 29, 2018.
