Be it enacted by the Legislature of the Virgin Islands:

SECTION 1.  (a) The sum of $3,508,061.30 is appropriated in the fiscal year ending 
2 
September 30, 2024, from the General Fund of the Treasury of the Government of the Virgin 
3 
Islands to the Virgin Islands Fire and Emergency Medical Services, to pay the arrearage owed 
4 
to Pafford Medical Services for services rendered from June 28, 2023, through August 9, 2024.

(b) 
The sum appropriated in subsection (a) remains available until expended.

This bill provides an appropriation from the General Fund of the Treasury of the
