be
allowed

import

by
mail,

freight,

by
any
other
means,
any

cotton,
seed,

cotton,
cotton
lint,

cotton plants,
sugar
cane
cuttings,
sugar

cane plants,
or pieces
of sugar
cane,
un-

less
through
the
medium
of, and
with
the consent
of, the Agronomist in charge

of
the
Agriculural
Experiment
Station
|
in
St.
Croix.
Also, the baggage
of
all

passengers
to
the
island
of
St.
Croix
|
shail be
searched
by
the
Customs
Offi-

cials
for these
articles
and
if any
shall

be found they shall
be forthwith destroy-

ed by fire.

that the
Agiono-

mist
in charge
of
the
Agricultural
Ex-

periment
Station
or
any
cfficial of
the
Agricultural Experiment
Station
appoint-
ed
by

shall have
free
access
to all
sugar
cane
or cotton fields
in the
island
of
St. Croix, for the purpose
of examin-
ing such fields for pests.

are

being
carried
on

in
a very
inefficient
manner
and
not
ac-

cording
to
the
road
regulations,
the

not
dug
out
or
cleaned
properly,
the
