ANNUAL STUDENT RESEARCH SYMPOSIA The College of Science and Mathematics, with support from the ECS Program, hosts three research symposia each year: Fall Research Symposium (on the third Sunday in September on St. Thomas), Spring Research Symposium (on the third Saturday in March on St. Croix) and the Summer Research Symposium (on the last day of ECS summer research programs on St. Thomas). This is an opportunity for students at UVI to showcase their research and practice their presentation and public speaking skills. Above: Stephan Bitterwolf, Marine Biology Major, Fall 2012 Undergraduate and graduate students attending UVI are encouraged to register and submit an abstract. Participants will be given the opportunity to present their research as a poster presentation. The symposia are open to the public so we encourage the community to attend and show their support. Right: Jewel Cumberbatch, Applied Math Major, Fall 2012 For more information, go to http://ecs.uvi.edu or send an email to ecs@uvi.edu. WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!! College of Science and Mathematics
