GOVERNMENT OF THE VIRGIN ISLANDS OF THE UNITED STATES PUBLIC SERVICES COMMISSION IN RE: Docket No. 634 APPLICATION OF VIRGIN ISLANDS WASTE Order No. 59/2015 MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY FOR SPECIAL WASTEWATER USER FEES Nemo Smee ee Seer” nee” Sine” ORDER WHEREAS, on August 4, 2014, the Virgin Islands Waste Management Authority’s (hereinafter “Authority” or “WMA”) submitted an Application for Special Waste Fees to the Virgin Islands Public Services Commission (“hereinafter “PSC” or “Commission”); and WHEREAS, WMA’s Application request that the Commission approve the proposed Special Waste Fees as requested in the Application and provide such other and further relief that is fair, just and equitable; and WHEREAS, on August 26, 2014, the Commission held a Special Meeting in both its offices on St. Thomas and St. Croix and appointed Attorney Dolace N. McLean as Hearing Examiner to preside over the proceedings for Docket 634, the Authority’s Application for Special Waster Fees; and WHEREAS, on April 15, 2015, Hearing Examiner, Attorney Dolace N. McLean, conducted a public hearing and heard testimony from WMA, the PSC’s staff, the Intervenor and the public; and WHEREAS, on June 25, 2015, the Commission received the Hearing Examiner’s Report and Recommendations; and WHEREAS, on June 30, 2015, the Commission met in regular session at both its offices on St. Thomas and St. Croix, United States Virgin Islands; and WHEREAS, upon review and deliberation the Commission voted to accept the Hearing Examiner’s Report and Recommendations for Docket 634 with modifications; and NOW THEREFORE, the Commission hereby accepts Attorney Dolace McLean’s Report and Recommendations with the following modifications:
