at all times

is
pun-

the terms

5.
Any
person
who
between
June
first and
October thirtieth knowing-
ly or wilfullykills, wounds
or takes
female
sea-turtles,
or knowingly
or
wilfully exposes
or offers for sale
or
purchases
such
animal
or animals,
or any part of such
animal
or
ani-
mals
killed, wounded
or
taken
or
knowingly
or wilfully collects
sea-
turtle-eggs,
or knowingly or wilfully
exposes
or offers
for sale
or pur-
chases
such egg
or eggs
collected,
within the
d ates
above
specified,
which {shall
be known
as the
close
season,
shall
Le guilty of a
misde-
meanor.
Sect.
6.
Any person
who
at
any
time
knowingly or wilfully kills, wounds
or takes female
lobsters
with eggs,
or knowingly or wilfully exgeses
or
offers for sale or purchases
such ani-
mal
or animals killed,
wounded
or
taken
shall be guilty
of
a
misde-
meanor.

Sect.
1.
Government
shall appoint for each
Quarter
in this municipality an
ade-
quate
number
of “Game-wardens”,
who
after being furnished
with ne-
cessary
authovity
and
properly
sworn in,
shall assist
the
Police
in
order that the regulations
laid down

this ordinance
be regidiy
observ-
ed.
These appointments
as game-war-
dens
are
to be unsalaried.
Sect.
8.
Because
of the predatory
habits
of the
mongoose,
there
will here-
after be paid by the
Director of Po
lice,
the
sum
of
50 bits
for
each
male
and
75 bits
for each
female
mongoose
delivered,
dead
or alive
to
the
Police
Department:
Provi-
ded that anycne
breeding
the
mon-
goose
for the purpose
of obtaining
the
benefits
provided
by
this
sec-
tion
shall
be
guilty of
a
misde-
meanor.
Sect.
9.
In the
case
of an offense against
this
ordinance
any person
witness-
ing
the commission
of the said
of-
ence
may reqube
the
offender
to
give
his name
and address,
and
if
such
coffender
refuses
to
do
so,
or
gives
an
erroneous
or
fictitious
name
or address,
he shall be guilty
of an
additional
misdemeanor
and
liable for double penalty.

10.
Any
person
convicted
of offerse
against
this
ordinance
shall
be lia-
ble
toa
fine
of not less
than fres.

trap,
snare,
capture
or kill during
any

C.
or those not
mentioned
in
this
ordinance,
as
specimens

their

and
to collect their eggs.
