CIB Arrest Fugitive from Justice at Cyril E. King Airport 
St. Thomas, USVI - On Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at approximately 6:36 p.m., 
detectives received a call from Customs and Border Patrol regarding Jason D. Magness who 
is a Fugitive from Justice. Magness, age unknown, was being detained at the Cyril E. King 
Airport, Customs Office where he was placed under arrest by Criminal Investigation Bureau 
detectives, after reviewing a Bench Warrant from the State of Florida. Magness was 
transported to the Richard Callwood Command where he was booked, processed, and 
remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending his Advice of Rights. 
This case is presently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Bureau. Anyone with
