GERS ANNOUNCES OFFICE CLOSING FOR STAFF TRAINING  
 
 
The Government Employees’ Retirement System offices on St. Thomas and St. Croix will be 
closed on Friday, June 24, 2022, during the hours of 8:30 a.m.- 12:30 p.m. to allow employees 
to participate in a Staff Development Training. Regular business hours will resume at 1:00 p.m.  
 
The GERS will continue to provide services via email and online. You may email our Customer 
Service Unit directly at customercare@usvigers.com. We also encourage members to use the 
Member Self-Service feature on our website at www.usvigers.com. 
 
Additionally, please be advised that all in-person services will resume on July 5th from 8:00 a.m.- 
5:00 p.m.
