of a resolution introduced by Mr.
Logan,

Cumberland
Nova
Scotia,
to the effeet
that
only goods im-
ported
at
Canadian
ports
should
enjoy
‘the British preference.
He
recalled
the
fact that he had introduced
a similar res-
olution eighteen
years
ago and
on subse-
guent
oceasions,
his reason,
of
course,
being based
on
the
practical
application
of how it will affect
the Western
farmer
