for insurance purposes.  Carefully photograph or videotape each item and document a brief 
description, including age, purchase price and estimated current value. Your inventory should 
include items such as furniture, electronics, jewelry, collectibles, clothing, home furnishings, 
appliances and tools.  Categorize the items by room to make the inventory process easier.  
Store your home inventory and other important documents in a waterproof container.  Also
